Our own Monster of Ceremonies, gorgonheap, will lead us in a dissection of Doc_M on Friday, April 25th @ 5:00pm MST. All participants are invited to bring their scalpels and other appropriate tools for this siftious endeavor. Medical records and other pertinent information will be made available here.

I just think we get too serious about this sometimes, and there are way too many rules as is.

It's not a rule thing. I'm just trying to make things work better/more smoothly. Channel talk posts get exposure in the sidebar, for quite a while usually. Primary sift talk posts that get pushed off the first page after a day or two generally don't get much traffic at all. And those are often ones that should get the most notice because they are generally about things that affect everyone at VS.

ohh ok, duh. Still a bit new to all this. Never mind anyway, it's not like it was doing well. Thanks for your help

oh jeez - I didn't mean for you to kill it. I'm pretty sure the concensus is that until someone finds the original, yours can stay. I left the comment in hopes that someone else might successfully look for it.

Alrighty, thanks

it's actually a dupe, but I can't find it due to poor title/tags

No worries. A dupe's a dupe; I just wish they were easier to find sometimes (damn people and their tagging skills). I just went through my discard pile and *killed anything that was a dupe as well.

In reply to this comment by jonny:
hey - pardon all the dupe discarding. I wasn't targeting you, just happened to catch a few of yours in a row.

Jonny,
I can't seem to drum up any interest in Victoria's songs and they languish in my personal queue. I was hoping that a more conventional voice, like Maria McKee's would get across the brilliance of Victoria's songwriting. Thanks for your support. It's good to know a few out there share my zeal. It was a huge thrill to meet her several weeks ago. She was playing in a band called "The Thrift Store All-stars," in a tiny roadhouse in Joshua Tree. She came over and talked a while. For me it was SWEET RELIEF.

In reply to this comment by jonny:
oh no - was it a dupe? why not just let it slide into your personal queue?

*discard
