Ok, I thought of one scenario where this makes sense (and IS fucked up).. it looks like there's a female cop crossing the street heading towards the kid too right when the video starts (I can't tell for sure though). So if that was some attempt at "Stop him, he might get away!" then I'm with you. I think we would have the whole video though if the cop was in the wrong. Who wouldn't post the aftermath with the cop falsly accusing him of something along with the rest?

So if it's not that I'm a lot more inclined to believe his foot slipped off the brake while he was making a 3 point turn (which he was)? And / or maybe he was looking more down the road itself and just not focused enough on driving to pay attention to the sidewalk till he was already booking. Maybe that was due to something crazy that came over the radio? Getting calls of such situations in my car isn't something I've experienced, so I don't know what can go on mentally when it happens.

I saw a truck back straight into another truck as it pulled out of a parking spot last week. The guy obviously didn't bother to check his rear view at all and assumed it was clear... I think something similar happened here, but again.. This is either a *really* dumb brain-fart of an accident, or this cop likes running his car into people in the middle of a crowded city with plenty of witnesses.

See, I just have a hard time believing where-ever-this-is has problems with cops running kids down in broad daylight, then checking on them before speeding off to where ever they were originally going.

Yes, I have no doubt this was an accident. A stupid one, but still an accident.

- "Catch anyone tonight, Ned?"

-"Nah, just had this one deaf guy roll through. I let him go anyways.."

I was a bit of a System Shock snob when Doom came out till I went to a friend of a friend and played Doom on his LAN.

I remember noticing a crevice on the map I could hide in that was adjacent to a hallway. Sure enough someone chased me as I was coming up on that hallway, hid.. other guy ran past and I got him in the back.

..Doom it was!

Isn't this scene taking place in Elysium via a dream he is having..?? Not that other parts of this movie were horribly realistic, but you can't nitpick a scene for realism when it's supposed to be taking place in another plane of existence.

Is this from some video game? Seems vaguely familiar...
