Here's your proof that games are art. They're rebooting games now...

Well, they've been doing that for years.

But I don't see this as a reboot. It's a very respectful coat of polish on the original. There's a 37 minute gameplay demo, and one of the artists even talks about resisting the urge to play George Lucas.

Frankly, Gearbox are doing a lot of things right here and earning a tonne of goodwill from me.

I never finished Homeworld, great as it was. There's one mission where you have to destroy some technological doohickey that's surrounded by a vast sphere of hundreds of enemy ships. So obviously I ignore the doohickey and spend hours and hours capturing every single one of them. At the start of the next mission my now enormous fleet can't deploy properly and the game crashes every time.

I have been playing FALLOUT 3 for a couple days. FREEAKING COOL GAME !

Too bad I JUST figured out how to use the targeting system, also known as the fighting system or whatnot - I have been playing/aiming like I was in a online deathmatch, people die much faster now. YAY for learning.

I do not play any flight games or space because I do not have a control stick, mouse is not my thing for flight.

Homeworld isn't a flight game, it's an RTS. think starcraft in 3 dimensions.

I remember taking forever and stealing as many of those bad boys as I could, honestly I don't think I would have made it to the end without all those extra Ion Frigates. I'm tempted to pick this up but I also remember how much of a pain in the ass this game was, but then I also suck at RTS games.
